STRONG winds and rain swept across Cabonne overnight and into Thursday morning, leaving many residents waking to fallen branches, debris and hazardous driving conditions across parts of the shire.
The Bureau of Meteorology issued severe weather warnings overnight, urging residents to stay up to date with the latest forecasts and weather alerts.
Cabonne Council has also reminded motorists to drive with caution, with water over several roads following the overnight rain.
As of Thursday morning, water was reported over Gumble Road at Gumble Creek, while Nanami Lane at Warree Creek has been closed between S Bowen Park Road and Davys Plains Road.
Residents are encouraged to check the latest road information before travelling, report hazards where safe to do so, and never enter or drive through floodwater.
