THE MOLONG RSL Club has officially emerged from voluntary administration, with a new board of directors set to lead the club into its next chapter.
The announcement marks a positive step forward for the much-loved community club, with work underway for reopening.
Appointed to the new board are Peter Crich, Ralph Crystall, Gordon Welsh, Nathan Stubberfield and Tieke White. The club has also confirmed that two additional board members will be welcomed in the near future.
The new board is now focused on securing suppliers and completing preparations to reopen the club’s doors, with members, guests and the wider community expected to be welcomed back soon.
In a statement, the club thanked the community for its patience and support throughout the process.
“We can’t wait to welcome back all of our members, guests and the wider community very soon,” the statement said.
While an official reopening date has not yet been announced, a club statement leadership was looking forward to an exciting future as it begins a new chapter.
The move comes after it was announced earlier in the week the Molong RSL Club building would be closed indefinitely.
