One dead, another injured in Belgravia crash

A MAN has been killed and another injured in a single-vehicle road crash at Belgravia in the early hours of Thursday morning.

A statement from New South Wales Police said the incident occurred at about 1am at the intersection of Belgravia and Calula roads, about 15 kilometres east of Molong.

When emergency services arrived, workers found a car had driven off the road and rolled over, trapping both occupants.

Despite treatment by NSW Ambulance paramedics, the man, who is yet to be identified, died at the scene.

The surviving passenger was transported to Westmead Hospital in Sydney for treatment.

Police established a crime scene at the site and are preparing a report for the coroner as investigations into the cause of the crash continue.
