A FLOOD warning in effect for Molong since 9.30pm on Tuesday has been downgraded.
Originally listed as “stay informed” the warning has now been listed by the New South Wales State Emergency Service as “monitor conditions”.
Molong Creek at Molong was at 2.80 meters at about 10.30pm last night, and authorities say it should have peaked at 3.30m at about 12am.
“The Molong Creek at Molong is expected to continue falling and to remain below the moderate flood level (3.30 m) during the remainder of Wednesday morning,” a statement from the SES said.
Low Lying areas could still be subject to flooding and people are advised to keep an eye on conditions.
The SES statement said people should monitor the HazardWatch website and Facebook pages, or the the Hazards Near Me mobile app for up to date information.
