CANOWINDRA is the latest Cabonne location to come under a flood warning after the New South Wales State Emergency Service issued a “stay informed” warning for the Belubula River.
The advice says there could be minor flooding along the river.
“The Belubula River at Canowindra is currently at 1.92 metres and rising, below the minor flood level,” an SES statment said,
“The Belubula River at Canowindra may reach around the minor flood level (2.60 m)from Wednesday evening.”
The warning comes as Molong along the Molong Creak is also impacted by a “stay informed” flood warning.
Both locations could see minor flooding in low lying areas.
The SES statement said people should monitor the HazardWatch website and Facebook pages, or the the Hazards Near Me mobile app for up to date information.
