LandCruisers to troopie in

LOCAL fans of the humble outback workhouse, the LandCruiser, are in for a treat early next month with classic examples of the four-wheel-drive going on show in Lithgow.

Put on by the Classic Landcruisers Club of NSW, the show’n’shine event is set for Saturday 3 October from 9am at the Lithgow Showground.

As part of the event, pre-1989 Landcruisers – from early models though to the 40, 55 and 60 Series will be dressed to their best and also to impress.

“We’re excited to bring the LandCruiser community back together in Lithgow for another great show,” said Classic Landcruisers Club of NSW spokesperson Kierran Mackenzie.

“The event is about much more than the vehicles. It’s about the people, the stories and the friendships that come with owning and enjoying these classic 4WDs.”

As part of the day there’s also a swap meet, kid’s activities, music and camping on offer.

Entry is $15 for adults, $10 concession and kids under 12 are free. Head to classiclandcruisers.com.au for tickets and more info.
