AS part of this year’s Orange Wine Festival, Nashdale Lane Wines will join other local winemakers to feature the region’s distinct cool-climate varieties.
The winery’s involvement in the official 2026 festival schedule features a sold-out Vintner’s Table gathering next month, presented in partnership with Bathurst’s Norma Joan restaurant and bar.
Held at the Nashdale Lane cellar door, this premium dining experience pairs regional wines with a specially curated menu by Michael Madden of Norma Joan.
In addition to hosting visitors for standard wine tastings across the festival period, Nashdale Lane will participate in the festival’s night markets on Friday 16 October.
Tanya Ryan-Segger, owner of Nashdale Lane Wines, said events like the Orange Wine Festival serve as a key regional drawcard while creating a collaborative space for local producers.
“Festival time in Orange is really unique because as producers and winemakers, more than any other time of year, there is truly a great sense of working and coming together as a region,” she said.
According to Ms Ryan-Segger, visitors frequently mention the collaborative atmosphere among local winemakers, something she said brings immense pride to the region.
The festival provides a valuable chance for wineries to gauge their progress alongside peers while refining their cellar door offerings.
At Nashdale Lane, visitors enjoy wine against the backdrop of Mount Canobolas and surrounding vineyards, with warmer weather opening up more alfresco opportunities.
Following years of dedicated vineyard investment, Ms Ryan-Segger said the team is eagerly anticipating Vintage 2027, which will feature fresh styles and new releases.
“We are really excited by Vintage 2027 and the new wines and styles we have in store for customers,” Ms Ryan-Segger said.
