WET and soggy grounds at Hunter Caldwell certainly didn’t hold back the Molong District Soccer Club games during the weekend.
And while the coffee cart found themselves in a bit of a bog, thankfully they were able to get them out with a helping hand from Viv White at Molong Ready Mix Concrete.
On pitch action saw a fantastic game against Barnstoneworth United.
The Powerful Owls came away with a big win, with plenty of great goals, impressive saves and some brilliant teamwork.
George Squires got things started with a cracking first goal. Luke, Conner and Josh showed off some impressive footwork and found the back of the net with some great goals.
To finish things off, Hudson and George both capitalised on rebounds to add to the scoreline.
A special congratulations to Richard Clayton, who was awarded Player of the Week for his fantastic sportsmanship.
Everyone is invited to come along and support the club as it hosts its final home games of the season on Saturday 29 August.
The day will get underway from 9am, with teams taking to the field throughout the morning and plenty of soccer action for supporters to enjoy.
The final match of the day will see the C Grade team, the Bin Chickens, take to the field at 1:15pm.
