AS they gear up for another big competitive season, Cumnock Little Athletics are reaching out to regional businesses for sponsorship support.
The volunteer-operated club serves children from Cumnock, Yeoval, Manildra, Molong, and nearby areas.
Following a year of strong growth, club leadership are now searching for supporters for the 2026–2027 season.
During the last summer season, club participation more than doubled, climbing from 35 to 96 young athletes.
Club president Bryce Morley said the expansion demonstrates the community’s strong commitment to Little Athletics and the valuable opportunities it offers for youth in the region.
The previous season saw several members reach the Regional Championships, with one competitor advancing all the way to States.
Morley remarked that these accomplishments are a huge source of pride for a small rural sports club.
“Every sponsorship makes a meaningful difference, helping local children stay active, build confidence and thrive in a supportive community,” he said.
Morley said community support and dedicated volunteers are vital to keeping Cumnock Little Athletics accessible.
To support its upcoming season, the club has introduced several sponsorship packages: a $2000 major sponsorship featuring front-of-shirt logo placement, $1000 lane sponsorships, $500 back of T-shirt sponsorships, and $300 weekly barbecue sponsorships.
In return, backers will gain valuable visibility across various channels, such as competition signage, social media highlights, website recognition, and local media coverage.
As the club draws participants from neighbouring areas, organisers invite local businesses to invest in the future of regional athletes.
